Jess Indeedy’s Complete Festival Packing List

It's festival fun time everybody!

It’s festival fun time everybody!

So I am really excited to be performing at a bunch of festivals this summer with Indeedy Musical Bingo and Lunchtime Disco. We’re booked to play these amazing festivals so far:

Latitude Festival, July 17-20 : On the Friday night headlining the In The Woods Stage with Indeedy Musical Bingo
Secret Garden Party, July 24-27 : 11:45pm at the superb Village Hall with Indeedy Musical Bingo
Standon Calling, August 1-3 : Saturday at 4pm in The Pub with Indeedy Musical Bingo, and on the Sunday at 1pm in The Shed with Lunchtime Disco
Wilderness, August 7-10 : 9:45pm on Thursday, and 7:45pm on Saturday at wonderful The Village Hall

I’m writing this post because my friends are always asking me for a copy of my packing list for festivals, as they know me to be very thorough (and I’m a list-making expert of course).

So behold, I share my festival packing list with you so that you don’t forget anything this year, and to help you have the maximum fun!

If you can’t have luxury, you might as well have fun.

Beautification

Makeup
Moisturiser
Facial cleanser/wipes (something you won’t have to rinse off)
Night oil
Towel
Washcloth
Mirror
Toothbrush
Toothpaste
Deodorant
Soap/shower gel
Shampoo and conditioner
Gas curling tongs
Hairspray
Hair elastics
Dry shampoo
Makeup remover wipes
Hairbrush
Hair pins

ad skin synergy

I swear by this night oil, you can buy it on the AD Skin Synergy website or on QVC. Put this on at night after cleansing and you will wake up with refreshed skin (unachievable at festivals until now).

Health

Minimised first aid kit
Blister plasters
Wet wipes
Sunblock
Loo roll
Berocca
Hand sanitiser
Big bottle of water
Nurofen (for the hangover)
Benadryl (if you’re allergic to anything)
Tissues

Compeed blister plaster

When you’re at a festival, YOU DO NOT WANT TO MESS AROUND when it comes to blisters. Compeed is by far the best brand for plasters.

Clothing – Everyday

Outfits x 2 for each day
Raincoat/Pullover
Wellies
High socks (for wellies)
Flip flops for shower
Trainers/Sandals/etc. I must say I found flatforms very useful last year.
Hat

umbrella hat

How about this for your hat option?

Accessories
Hoodie
Handbag/totebag/bumbag depending on your look
Pajamas
Clean clothes (in a ziplock bag) for the way home

Clothing – Gig (or nighttime party time!)
Dress/costume
Heels (ignore unless you’re on a stage)
Jewelry
Cape
Something fun to wear on your head

Jess Indeedy and DJ Helix at Latitude Festival

Here’s a photo of DJ Helix and I looking cute at Latitude on the Sunday last year. Don’t forget to accessorise!

Essentials

Sunglasses
Box of wine (sounds trashy, but you can’t bring glass onto most festival sites. Waitrose offer a decent edit.)
Money (cash rules at festivals)
Umbrella
Bin bags for your tent
Shopping bags (to sit on so you don’t have to sit in the mud)
Trolley (to carry all of the above)
Phone charger
Snacks

Bounce Energy Balls

Festival dream snack. It’s worth having a few of these on hand for when you need a boost of energy (and the burrito truck seems miles away). You can get them in most health food stores.

Extras
Camping chairs
Picnic blanket
Plastic wine glasses
Glow sticks
Giant inflatable banana (to dance with of course)

Granny Pack

I am pleased to end this post with a photo of our beloved Granny Pack chilling in the green room backstage before they rocked the house for Indeedy Musical Bingo!

I really hope you find this list useful, and if you think I’ve left anything out just let me know by commenting below.

Happy festivaling my beauties! See you out there!

With Love,

Jess xx
