Holly was commissioned by this legendary brand to photograph ten fashionistas in their Revel jeans, and I’m delighted that she invited me to be a part of the project. These photos were launched at London Fashion Weekend in the fantastic Levi’s Revel Room and are about to be shared across the world via Levi’s very soon! Here’s a sneak peek:
I chose to go bold and colourful as it was a grey and rainy London day. We had a great time skipping through the streets of Shoreditch for this shoot, and then celebrated with a luxurious ladies’ lunch at Shoreditch House.
Revel is the latest revolution in jeans technology by Levi’s, they are expertly designed to highlight your best features. The secret weapon is this genius ‘Liquid Shaping Technology’ which they’ve spent years developing, it’s fused into the denim in strategic places to lift, tuck in, and shape. I LOVE when science and fashion come together.
Red blazer, vintage. Jeans, Levi’s Revel in Demi Curve. Black body, vintage (my mom’s from the 80s). Platform heels, Topshop. Silver metallic clutch, Pierre Hardy, net-a-porter.com. Rainbow umbrella, American Apparel. Gold watch, Casio. Metallic leopard socks and gold chain, (I can’t remember).
Thanks to their Curve ID approach, they’ve got the perfect jeans for every type of body: if you’re straight up and down like Gwynnie you’d go for Slight Curve, if you’ve got a bit of boom-boom you’d go for Demi Curve, and if you’re lucky enough to have a bodacious J-Lawr or Beyonce body, you’d go for Bold Curve. Bye-bye blue jean blues!
These jeans are soft and comfortable in a sturdy way – I didn’t think that was possible. I call this jacket my ‘realtor blazer’.
See the other nine models’ styling approaches to Levi’s Revel on Holly McGlynn’s website, they are all so gorgeous!
